Online-Discussion: Open Educational Resources and (Generative) Artificial Intelligence: Potentials and Challenges
On March 4, 2024, from 4:00pm to 5:pm, the Online-Session „Open Educational Resources and (Generative) Artificial Intelligence: Potentials and Challenges“ takes place as part of the Open Education Week 2024.
In this online session, we talk about the implications of (Generative) Artificial Intelligence for Open Educational Resources with a focus on the higher education sector.
As part of the project „KI-NEL-23-NRW“, which is funded by the German Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education, the state portal ORCA.nrw is organising various offers (e.g. information events, workshops, short videos,) on the intersections of OER & (Generative) Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education until the end of March 2024.
In a short presentation, we will give insights into the project and talk, for example, about the potential of Generative AI for OER or the associated challenges.
Following the presentation, we invite all participants to report on their own experiences, describe the situation at their own institution or in their own country and contribute to the discussion.
